One of my favorite sewing magazines is Australian Stitches. They have changed their title several times over the years, but have continued to produce a magazine that is like having a few friends who sew at your finger tips. We don't always have the same taste in fashion (who does really), but it's encouraging to see how patterns are interpreted by someone else. The magazine has a wonderful fashion artist in Eddie Frantz and many contributors who are very talented. I love Lynn and Cate and can't wait for each issue to come out. The only downside for me is that coming from Australia by the time I see an issue in my local Joann's store there are already three newer issues out. I use my 40% coupons to save on the $10 per issue price in the store.
Last year I emailed Lynn trying to get them to consider archiving their magazines like "Threads" does. She was gracious enough to email me back with explanations and gratitude. I have saved this email encouraged that they truly put their hearts in their publication.
Imagine my surprise, months later, when I purchased a couple of issues that came out during our vacation, and opened to read letters to the editor (my favorite section to read first in all the sewing mags I receive) and there it was, my letter to Lynn. I stood in my Joann's giggling to myself, "in Stitches!"

Thanks so much for the lovely comment! We all work really hard at the magazine so it is very much appreciated.
